Baikkan offers Unifi-certified technicians in various regions, ensuring that help is always nearby. Simply contact us, and we’ll send a technician to your location to assist with any Unifi issues, from installations to troubleshooting support.

What kind of Unifi troubleshooting support do you provide?

Our technicians are skilled in diagnosing and resolving a wide range of Unifi issues, including slow connections, hardware problems, and fiber optic wiring complications. We provide fast and reliable troubleshooting support to get your internet running smoothly.

Who are baikkan Contractors?

baikkan Contractors are certified contractors who installs, inspects, repairs or modifies fiber optic, ethernet and phone wiring for internet connection and IoT (Internet of Things) connectivities, such as VoiP & CCTV systems.

What is baikkan's coverage area?

Currently, we cover areas within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

What is the price of wiring and/or parts replacement?

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment by submitting the booking form and our Helpdesk will assist you to confirm the appointment via Whatsapp.

What is the process like?

1)  Book a service via this baikkan web app

2)  Confirm an appointment with us via WhatsApp

3)  The contractor will conduct a site survey and we will send you a Quotation/Invoice via WhatsApp

4)  Contractor do the needful to solve the issue, if you agree with the Quotation/Invoice

5)  Pay the contractor according to the Quotation/Invoice

How do I make payment?

We do not accept any payment via baikkan website. 

All payments, including the Appointment Fee and other charges quoted, shall be made payable directly to Baikkan.

Can I make the payment directly to the technician? 

No.

How do I reschedule or cancel the appointment?

You may contact baikkan Contractor directly (refer to WhatsApp for baikkan contractor contact details).

Alternatively, you may contact our baikkan Helpdesk for further assistance via WhatsApp.

Do I need to pay for the booking?

Yes. There's an on-site service fee of RM150. It is fully refundable if you tell us within the day that you are not satisfied with the on-site service.

Can I hire two baikkan contractors / make two appointments at once?

Yes, you can. Please fill in and submit the booking form twice.

What is the warranty period for repaired parts and/or wiring?

Unless otherwise stated, our solution comes with 30-day workmanship warranty, whereby it covers any issues resulting from the quality of workmanship that arise within 30 days from the completion date, and 365-day material warranty, whereby it covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, or normal wear and tear.

Why do I have to pay for the repair of Internal Wiring of fiber optic, ethernet and/or telephone wires within my house compound?

According to MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission), the internal cabling (internal wiring) shall be laid by the Developer or Premise Owner depending on their preferences since the cost of installation is normally borne by the customers.

Sometimes, TM does provide its customer 50 meters of internal wiring for free during the Unifi installation work, however, it does not come with any warranty.

Hence, you have to pay for the Internal Wiring.

What is the starting point of the Unifi internal cabling?

Internal cabling starts from the fiber termination box / fiber wall socket up to your router modem.

What should I do if the cable in my house is broken?

You can look for us to repair or replace the cable. You can book an appointment by submitting the booking form and our Helpdesk will assist you to confirm the appointment via Whatsapp.

Can I connect the Fiber Optic cable myself?

Typically connecting Fiber Optic cable requires skills and using special equipment, like a Fiber Optic Splicing Machine.

Does ISP (like TM, Maxis, or ...) cover cable damage inside my house?

No. The internal wiring in your house is under your responsibilty,

Who is responsible for maintaining the internal wiring within my property?

According to MCMC, Internal Wiring is under your responsibility as the premise owner.
